An automatic powders filling machine uses an auger-based filling mechanism integrated with servo-driven controls to measure and dispense exact quantities of powder into containers. The system takes care of the indexing of containers, filling the containers and in many cases integration to capping or sealing units, all automatically.
Unlike the manual or semi-automatic setups, the whole process is carried out with minimal operator intervention. Sensors are used to detect container placement, while programmable logic controllers (PLC) are used to control fill weight, speed and consistency. This ensures every container meets required standards without variation.
